How to check BVN on GTB via the GTB mobile banking app

You can have access to your BVN when you download, install, and register the GTB mobile banking app known as the GT World App from the Google PlayStore (for Android users) or Apple Store (for iPhone users).

Once you download, install, and provide the information needed to access your account using the mobile banking app, you’ll be taken to the app’s homepage showing your current account balance. Now, to access your BVN from the bank app, tap on the Menu icon to reveal a list of options. On the top of the menu icon, you’ll find your BVN displayed.

How to check BVN on GTB via Internet banking

You can easily have access to your BVN via GTB Internet banking. But in order to use this approach, you must have an internet banking account with GTB.

Hence, if you are yet to be enrolled on GTB’s Internet banking, you can click here to register. But if you are an old user, then you can simply log in to access your account.

How to check BVN on GTB via the USSD code

However, similar to the method listed before it, you’ll have first activate your number linked to your GTB account before you can use the code for your banking services. If you haven’t activated your number yet, simply follow this link to learn how to do so.

Once you have activated USSD on your mobile device, dial *737# and follow the prompts to check your BVN. Alternatively, you can dial *737*6*1# and your BVN, phone number, and account balance will be displayed on your screen.JAMB Form

How to check BVN on GTB via BVN code

The BVN code is a universal code that can be used on all SIMs linked to your BVN. To use this super easy method to check your BVN; simply dial *565*0# on the number linked to your BVN and your BVN will be displayed on your screen.

If you tried this method and it’s not working out for you then the chances are that you are using a number that isn’t linked to your BVN.JAMB Result

Just like the GTB USSD code, this service isn’t free as well and you’ll be charged a fee of NGN 20 each time you check your BVN using this code.

Finally, if for some reason you can’t use any of the methods outlined above, then the last resort is to visit a GTB branch closest to you. When you visit the bank, request your BVN. You’ll be asked to provide an ID and your account number. Once you do that, your BVN will be given or issued to you.
