If you recently enrolled and have received your NIN but are unsure if your Mtn number has been linked, you can quickly check your NIN status by dialling *785#. Once you dial it, you’ll be given a field where you can input your NIN.How to Check NYSC State Code

After inputting your 11 digits’ unique NIN, you’ll later be greeted with a message that your NIN has been Successfully received.

However, you should note that you can’t just submit any random digit as the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) will verify the NIN submitted to your network.

One final thing, if you try checking your NIN status on your MTN line and you don’t receive the successful, don’t sweat it or panic. You can try the procedure again until you receive the successful message.

How to check NIN status on Airtel

Checking your NIN status on Airtel is easy, and you can do it using USSD. This means that you don’t necessarily need to have a smartphone because you’ll be able to do it with your feature phone as well.Npower recruitment

To check your NIN status on Airtel, dial *1211# and follow the prompts (if any). Once you do that, you’ll receive a message from Airtel telling you that you have successfully uploaded your 11-digit NIN and that you’ll receive a confirmatory message after NIMC has verified your NIN.

If you try the steps above and you don’t receive any message, try it again until you are told that you have successfully submitted your NIN to update your Airtel SIM.

Once NIMC has verified your NIN, Airtel will send you a message telling you that your update was successful.

How to Check NIN status on Glo

For Glo users or subscribers, Glo will send you a message indicating that they have successfully received your NIN.

So, if you updated your NIN via sending a text message to 109, they’ll reply to your message and tell you if the linking was successful or not. Alternatively, you can link it by dialling *109# and inserting your 11-digit unique NIN. If it gets linked, you’ll also receive a successful message.WAEC result

How to check NIN status on 9mobile

You can easily check your NIN status on 9mobile via USSD. To do this, dial *200*8#.

After dialling the code, you’ll be welcomed with two options: one, to verify if you have linked your 9mobile SIM and the other to link it.

To verify, press 1. After doing this, you’ll receive a message telling you if you have successfully linked your NIN to your 9mobile line.JAMB Result

Note: if you have linked your mobile network (Mtn, Airtel, Glo, and 9mobile) by now, then you don’t need to check your status because your telecommunications network must have already blocked you. However, what you can do is link your mobile number to your NIN to unblock your line or SIM.
