The IITA uses many strategies to meet its goals of lifting 11.5 million people out of poverty and at the same time revitalise 7.5 hectares of farm land by the year 2020 that just passed. The salary scale of IITA lies between N67, 000 minimum pay for the low ranking staff such as Chain/Tractor Operator and N166, 111 for skilled workers. The above is an average salary scale analysis which increases according to ranks and roles.

Meanwhile, on average, the IITA salary structure ranks well compared to what local organisations pay since the Institute operates on international standards. However, my salary scale puts the figure of an average salary of IITA employees at the rate of N149, 173 in an analysis claimed to have been collated from 33 IITA staff.
