Medecins du Monde (MdM) is an international humanitarian organization whose mission is to provide medical care for the most vulnerable populations, the world over, including France. It seeks to stimulate voluntary commitment from doctors, other health care providers, and from those whose expertise in other fields is needed for its activities, to enlist all competent support required for the achievement of its projects, and to seek at all times to encourage close working relationships with populations in its care. MdM operating in Nigeria, Borno state since October 2016.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Enumerator
Location: Borno
Qualifications and Requirements
- The Enumerator should have a minimum of NCE / Diploma.
- 2 – 3 years work experience.
- The Enumerator must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- The Enumerator must be able to communicate fluently in Hausa and Kanuri.
- Understanding of Shuwa is an added advantage.
- The Enumerator should have basic ICT skills.
- The Enumerator should have basic assessment skills in data collection, preferably in mobile data collection.
- The Enumerator must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- High regard for cultural norms and traditions.
- Demonstrate patience and good leadership skills.
- Previous experience and understanding of selected communities is an added advantage.
- Must be flexible to work and available to respond to comments and questions in a timely and appropriate manner.

2.) Deputy General Coordinator In Charge Of Programmes
Location: Borno
Requirements
- Medical or Public Health profile
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience with an international NGO working in emergency contexts, managing programmes, preferably within the health sector
- Experience of project planning, budget holding, proposal and report writing, multi-sectoral or multi-grants programming management
- Experience in partnerships
- Plan, manage and adapt a project, including in emergencies
- Knowledge and understanding of project management tools (logical framework analysis, project cycle management, objectives and indicators etc.)
- Ability to have a global overview of a program (not only on medical plan)
- Analyze and summarize the issues and challenges in the region
- Analyse the context and the consequences of an intervention, assess the risks and constraints, and identify priorities
- Understrand and analyse a health context, health problems and data
- Create and choose appropriate indicators for the project
- Manage and follow a budget

Salary and Benefits
- Gross monthly salary: Euros 3089
- Premium equal to one month salary paid in two instalments – minimum of 6 months seniority required
- Expatriation bonus (10% gross salary per month)
- Transportation cost, vaccines and visas covered
- Guesthouse housing
- 22.5 RTT (recovery days) per year
- 5 weeks of paid leaves per year
- Health insurance (60% covered by MdM and 40% by the employee)
- Insurance (repatriation…)

3.) External Facilitator – Medical Legal Report Training
Location: Borno
Requirements
- Resident Doctor in Pathology / Consultant, Pathology or related field
- 7- 10 years of Experience either anatomical or clinical pathology.
- Having 3 years of experience in approved medico-legal investigation
- Certification by National Board of Pathology in Nigeria
- Valid and active medical license in the country of practice.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent facilitation skills
- Fluency in English is required.
- Must Base in Borno State.
