Step 1. Open a browser with an internet-enabled device, login to https://nvis.frsc.gov.ng/NumberPlateVerification.aspx

Step 2. After you must have login to the site above, another page will appear with a space asking you to enter your plate number (beside the space provided is written ‘plate number’)

Step 3. Enter your vehicle plate number in the space provided (usually a combination of letters and number example, ASD1234FET)

Step 4. Click on the verify button right under the space provided

Step 5. A statement will appear still on the same page saying invalid/wrong number plate if it is fake and number plate is valid if it’s authentic
