How to verify BVN

After enrolling for your BVN at the bank, your BVN will be sent to the mobile number you used in registering.JAMB Result

If for some reason you can no longer access that text and you haven’t memorised it (most people don’t have the time to memorize it), then you can easily verify or confirm your BVN anywhere and anything using your mobile phone. To verify your BVN, dial *565*0# on the line or number used in registering for your BVN. Once you do that, your BVN will be displayed on your phone’s screen.

Make sure to send the command using the number registered on your BVN otherwise you’ll receive a message telling you that your number isn’t registered in the BVN system.

Finally, the verification service isn’t free. You’ll be charged a service fee of NGN 20 every time you check or verify your BVN via this approach. To prevent that, after verifying it, make sure to write it down and store it somewhere safe where you can easily access it in future.
