2. Employing Qualified Science and Technology Teachers into the Science and Technology Institutions:
Teachers with a good background in science and technology should be employed in the already setup science and technology institutions in Nigeria, to teach the students who want to specialize in the core science and technology discipline. This will help the students and teachers share knowledge and rehearse their brains in the science and technology field while teaching and learning is ongoing. 3. Scheduled Funding by the Government of Nigeria:
The science and technology discipline in Nigeria can also be developed when adequate funding is in place. 5. Nigerian Government should Award Scholarships to Students/Intended Students in the Science and Technology field:
If the government of Nigeria adopts a scholarship policy to fund the science and technology education of students and a higher rate of scholarship to prospective students, who have not enrolled in a science and technology institution, it will encourage the already existing students and also encourage students who have the desire to pursue the discipline but do not have the resources to pay for the education. With such scholarships put in place, students will be encouraged and motivated and also placed in the right and relaxed frame to study and perform well in their various science and technology institutions. 6. Establishment of Science and Technology Research Institutions:

This will create more room for the development of science and technology in Nigeria because, when these categories of students make suggestions for improvement while using the research Institutions, their suggestions will be advanced to cause a rapid development in the science and technology discipline in Nigeria. 7. The Nigerian Government should Establish Innovation Centres for Science and Technology:
Science and technology can be improved in Nigeria when there are Innovation centres, set up either by the Nigerian government or private individuals/institutions. The innovation centre will be mandated for collecting science and technology driven ideas and processing them into something more realistic and physical to achieve. The realistic idea can be further brought to the international light alongside other international created ideas, and if it poses as a realistic idea, international attention will be brought to Nigeria, thereby causing foreigners to visit our innovative centres and thereby causing a widespread development across Nigeria
8. Establishment of a Policy to have at least a Government – owned Science and Technology Institution in all the States:
A massive development will be recorded in Nigeria when all the States own a government science and technology institution. This will not only make the science and technology institutions available and close to students, it will also give room for a diverse category of students with different intellects, ideas, and genetic background to be enrolled into the institution. When inter state science and technology competitions are organised in the country, bunches of talents and ideas are brought to the knowledge of Nigerian, and when these ideas are taken to the innovation centres and produced into existence, a high rate development is assured.
9. Creating Awareness:
Another way science and technology can be improved in Nigeria is by making the innovation centres, science and technology institutions and their activities known to the public through the media. This will further create impressing thoughts and pictures in the minds of Nigerians and development motivated emphasis will be given to science and technology in the country.
