How to Link your BVN to other Bank Accounts

Every individual is entitled to one BVN number. Hence, when opening another bank account, you will be required to link your Bank Verification Number to the new account before you can proceed. To link your BVN number to your new account, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Login to your Internet banking account
Step 2: Navigate to BVN Linker, and click on it
Step 3: Click on “New request”
Step 4: Enter your BVN number
Step 5: Select the Bank where your BVN was issued to you

Step 1: Insert your new ATM card into the ATM machine
Step 2: Enter your 4 digit password
Step 3: Click on Transactions
