How to Do JAMB Result Reprint

Are you a UTME candidate? Do you have someone who wrote the just concluded UTME? It is expected that you have already seen the result whether through SMS or by checking it online, so printing of the UTME original result slip is not out of excitement but out of necessity. The result comes out between 3-7 days after the examination. The UTME original result is the official result statement document which has your passport (the one taken during the JAMB registration) embedded in it. The passport is on it to affirm that it is yours because you might have to show it in the respective institutions (College of education, Polytechnics, and Universities) chosen when you go for your Post-UTME screening exercise.

The JAMB UTME Original Result Slip has to be printed because;

  • It is part of the documents that will be needed for the post UTME screening exercise.
  • When you have been admitted, the original result slip will be used to confirm your JAMB registration
  • Some institutions require it as part of the documents needed for registration.
  • If there is a need for a change of course or institution, the original result slip might be required.
  • If there is an admission process due to cut-off marks, it will be required.
  • You just might want to be sure of your score to avoid stories of results changing.

The original result slip reprint has been made easy by JAMB, it is a process that you can do by yourself. But you will need to make a payment of 1,000 Naira to have access to it. The payment will be made on the JAMB portal.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS TO PRINTING JAMB ORIGINAL RESULT SLIP

  1. Get a browsing phone or computer with access to a good network connection.
  2. Go to your phone or computer’s browser
  3. Log in to your JAMB profile with your e-mail and passwordHow to Check MTN Tariff Plan
  4. You will see a list of services on one side of the page, click on ‘print result slip’.
  5. It will bring the option ‘continue with payment’, click on it and it will redirect you to the Remita platform for you to make payment.
  6. When you have made the payment and it has been confirmed, you will be redirected to where you will print your original result
  7. All that is left to do is input your JAMB registration number and examination year in the right column.

NOTE:

  • You can do this at home and download it on your phone or laptop, then go and print it in a café for less than 50 Naira.
  • You can also click on the option that the result should be sent to your e-mail (But this is after payment has been made), this will give you access to it even without an internet connection.
  • You do not need to get a scratch card for this, and you can print it as many times as you want.
  • It is an added advantage f you print it in colored form, then you can make copies of it for submission.

What happens if I lose my original result slip?

It has been said in this article that the result can be printed as many times as you want. The fun fact is that you do not need to pay the 1,000 Naira again as it is a one-time payment. Also, if you already have it in your g-mail, just print it again.

You can have as many as 5-7 as you might have to submit some copies when you have been given admission. But try not to submit your original copy so that you can make photocopies of it if you need more.
