  2. Dial the MTN pulse migration code *406# using your MTN phone number
  3. Select migrate to MTN pulse by entering “1”
  4. Or you can dial *406*1# to migrate immediately
  5. You can also use the code *123*2*2# to migrate to the MTN pulse tariff plan.
  6. You will receive a welcome notification after dialling the code.

OR,

  1. You can migrate to the MTN pulse tariff plan via text message
  2. Type the message “406”
  3. Send the message to 131JAMB Form
  4. Confirm the prompt message
  5. You will receive a welcome notification from MTN pulse once the procedure is complete.

Note: Migration to the MTN pulse for the first time is free of charge. However, if you migrate to another plan and wish to return back to the MTN pulse, then you will be charged ₦100 for the migration.

How to Opt-Out of the MTN Pulse

If you decide you don’t want to be on the tariff plan any longer, you are free to opt out of the plan whenever you want.

To migrate out of the MTN pulse tariff plan, simply dial the code of the tariff you wish to migrate to and confirm the migration. You will be automatically removed from the MTN pulse tariff plan.

There is no service fee for opting out of the plan, neither will you be charged for migrating to a new plan, provided you are returning to an old plan you migrated out of within the last 30 days.
