Individuals who are yet to link their NIN to their SIM card will not be able to make phone calls using that line. If you have more than one SIM card, you can link them all to your NIN. How to Update NIN on Glo SIM via SMS

There are 3 methods to update your NIN on Glo SIM which include; via SMS, USSD, and the Glo Portal. See details on how to use the SMS method to update your NIN on your Glo SIM card below:How to Write NYSC Final Clearance Letter

  1. Copy out your 11-digit NIN number
  2. Open the messaging app on your mobile phone
  3. Send the message “UPDATENIN, Your 11-digit NIN number, First name, and Last name” For example send; “UPDATENIN 64812640614 John Bassey”
  4. Send the message to 109
  5. After sending the message your NIN will be linked to the GLO line automatically.
  6. Congratulations, you have successfully updated your NIN on your Glo SIM card.

How to Update NIN on Glo SIM via USSD Code

To update NIN on your Glo SIM using a USSD code, follow the procedures below:

  1. Dial *109* your 11-digit NIN number# using your mobile phone. For example, “109*64812640614#How to Check NYSC Eligibility
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter and submit your details
  3. After entering your details, tap on send
  4. Your NIN will be linked to your Glo SIM card.
  5. Congratulations, you have successfully updated your NIN on your Glo SIM card.

How to Update NIN on Glo SIM via Glo Portal

If you wish to update NIN on your SIM SIM card using the Globacom portal follow the procedures below:Npower recruitment

  1. Visit the Globacom NIN portal via_http://mobileapp.gloworld.com/glonin/home
  2. Enter the following details into the available boxes; First Name, Last Name, Middle Name, Phone number, National Identification Number (NIN), and Email Address.
  3. Enter the two-digit numbers shown below to complete the process, then click on submit.
  4. Congratulations, you have successfully updated your NIN on your Glo SIM card.

How to Check Your NIN Using a Glo SIM Card
