To migrate to the MTN pulse tariff plan, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to the Dialler App on your mobile phoneHow to Use BVN to Check Account Details
  2. Dial the USSD code *406# using your MTN phone number
  3. Options will be displayed on the screen
  4. Select option 1 to migrate to MTN pulse
  5. Or you can dial *406*1# directly to migrate
  6. You can also make use of the code *123*2*2# to migrate to the MTN pulse tariff plan.
  7. You will receive a welcome notification from MTN after dialling the code.

OR,

  1. You can migrate to the MTN pulse via text message
  2. Simply type the message “406Npower Recruitment
  3. Send the message to “131WAEC Result
  4. You will receive a welcome notification from MTN pulse after sending the message.

Note: Migrating to the MTN pulse for the first time is free of charge. However, subsequent migration within the next 30 days will cost you ₦100.

How to Check if You’re on MTN Pulse Plan?

If you do not know your current tariff plan you can check it using a USSD code. Most people don’t know which tariff they are currently on. You may already be in the MTN pulse plan without even knowing, that’s why I’ve opted to show you how to check your current tariff plan.JAMB Form

To check your current tariff plan, dial the USSD code *123# using your MTN phone number, then select “My Tariff Plan” from the list of options displayed. After selecting the option, you will get the message “Yello! You are currently on MTN…… Thank you!”. Now you can confirm your current MTN tariff plan.

Features of MTN Pulse Tariff Plan

The following are features of the MTN pulse plan:

  1. 11kobo/sec flat call rate ACROSS ALL local Networks (including Glo, Airtel, 9mobile, etc.) after spending an initial NGN12.50 on calls for the day.
  2. Stream songs on Music+ for a small cost of ₦10/day
