2023 Election: Igbo Can’t Be Reliable As President -Igbokwe
In anticipation of the 2023 presidential election and where the next president of Nigeria should come from, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe has stated that Igbo aspirant cannot be trusted as the next President of the country. Information Guide Nigeria
According to Punch, Igbokwe disclosed this on Thursday in an interview, saying that nobody would vote for people who would use the same position to divide the country.

Igbokwe however said that the South-East region has suffered “injustices” in the country, adding that “everything we share in this country, we get the least”.
He also urged President Muhammadu Buhari to create one more state to make states in the South-East like other geopolitical zones in Nigeria. jamb results
Speaking on bloodletting in the southeast region, Igbokwe said the members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are going about their agitation in a wrong way.

He claimed that IPOB members are Peoples Democratic Party supporters, adding that the separatist group began their agitations to leave Nigerian after PDP lost the 2015 general election.
The party stalwart said that only the PDP is currently campaigning in Anambra ahead of the November 6 governorship poll while other parties are allegedly being attacked.
He also frowned at Igbo leaders who are in support that the zone produces a President in 2023
