ACTOR MISTAKENLY SHOOTS AND KILLS DIRECTOR ON SET

A film crew member has died and another has been injured in New Mexico.

OLORISUPERGAL reports that the director of photography Halyna Hutchins, 42 who was mistakenly shot was transported to the hospital via helicopter.

According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, he was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the University of New Mexico Hospital.

OLORISUPERGAL reports that Director Joel Souza, 48, was also transported to Christus St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Center by ambulance for care, and the details on his condition were not released.

OLORISUPERGAL reveals, “According to investigators it appears that the scene being filmed involved the use of a prop firearm when it was discharged. Detectives are investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged.” Information Guide Nigeria
