Birmingham City release major takeover statement confirming new ownership

According to the report from birminghammail, it is claimed that Birmingham City have confirmed details of a takeover deal which will see a group led by Tom Wagner assume ownership of the club.

Blues’ current owners Birmingham Sports Holdings Ltd had announced they had entered a period of exclusivity in order to finalise a sale for both club and the stadium. In a new statement released by the club, it confirmed that BSHL will transfer 24% of the shares in Birmingham City PLC to Shelby Companies Limited, while Oriental Rainbow Investments Limited and Achiever Global Group Limited will also transfer 21.64% of the shares in Birmingham City PLC. Shelby Companies Limited is managed by American hedge fund manager Wagner. And Blues confirmed that he and members of his team will be in attendance at the club’s final Championship match of the season against Sheffield United at St Andrew’s later (Monday, 3pm kick-off).Information Guide Nigeria
