BREAKING: E-Naira Platform Goes Live in Nigeria

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has activated the E-Naira Portal in Nigeria.

In a report filed by Daily Trust, the E-Naira Platform has gone live ahead of the digital currency which will be launch officially on October 1, 2021. Information Guide Nigeria

The digital currency website which is www was activated by the Central Bank of Nigeria on Monday.

Speaking to correspondents, the CBN’s Director of Corporate Communications, Mr Osita Nwanisobi, said transactions are not permitted yet until the official launch on this years’ Independence Day.

Daily Trust reports that so far, the site has recorded over a million hits and can be downloaded on the app stores on Android and iOS.
