BREAKING: Senate Rejects Proposal To Borrow N82 Billion To Buy Mosquito Nets

The Red Chamber and Nigerian Senate has rejected the proposal by the Federal Ministry of Health to borrow $200 million (N82,070,388,916.76) to buy mosquito nets.

According to LINDAIKEJI BLOG, the Ministry proposed N82 billion under the malaria program to buy mosquito nets in the 2022 budget.

LINDAIKEJI BLOG revealed that this was opposed by a member of the Senate Committee on Health, Gershom Bassey. Jamb Result

Gershom Bassey opposed this move during the 2022 budget defence of the Federal Ministry of Health.
