BREAKING: Senate Rejects Proposal To Borrow N82 Billion To Buy Mosquito Nets
The Red Chamber and Nigerian Senate has rejected the proposal by the Federal Ministry of Health to borrow $200 million (N82,070,388,916.76) to buy mosquito nets.
According to LINDAIKEJI BLOG, the Ministry proposed N82 billion under the malaria program to buy mosquito nets in the 2022 budget.

Gershom Bassey opposed this move during the 2022 budget defence of the Federal Ministry of Health.

According to LINDAIKEJI BLOG, Gershom Bassey, speaking to the Permanent Secretary, Mahmuda Mamman described the move as outrageous considering the amount involved.
