Chief Of Army Seeks Cooperation On Security

Nigerian Army Chief, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya the Chief of Army has solicited for more cooperation from the state government, traditional rulers, and patriotic citizens to curtail insecurity in the nation.

He made the call when he visited the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar respectively. Information Guide Nigeria

According, General Yahaya, security is everybody’s business.

According to Voice of Nation, in Yahaya’s words: ”Engaging you as Chief Security Officer of the state, traditional rulers, opinion leaders and other concern citizens that shows genuine commitments to proffer a lasting solution to the problem”.

Yahaya also advised the Governor not to be tired of assisting them as he is seeking for more cooperation from him.
