
Court Confines 61-Year-Old Man Over Rape Of Minor
The chief magistrate of the Family Court 1, Iyaganku, Ibadan, S. H. Adebisi has remanded a 61-year-old man, Mr. Olayiwola Rasak, of S6/387 Oke Oluokun Kudeti Road in Ibadan.
According to DAILY TRUST, the 61-year-old man has been remanded over the rape of a minor, a 15-year-old girl.
DAILY POST reports that the NSCDC commandant in Oyo state, Mr. Michael Adaralewa, brought the case before the court after medically examining the victim and conducting a thorough investigation.

According to Mr. Michael Adaralewa, the offence contravenes Section 34(1) and is punishable under Section 34(2) of the Child Rights Law of Oyo State. Information Guide Nigeria
DAILY POST reveals that Adaralewa revealed that the suspect voluntarily admitted that he once had sexual intercourse with the minor.
Adaralewa warned those involved in the act to desist from it adding that the NSCDC will continue to bring offenders to justice. Jamb Result
According to DAILY POST, while the suspect has been remanded at the Abolongo Correctional Centre the case has been adjourned till November 8.
