Since our inception in 1985, we have designed and implemented enterprise-based, agricultural development initiatives to facilitate market access, enhance agribusiness competitiveness, increase productivity and improve access to inputs and credit across 45 countries worldwide.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Consultant

Location: Abuja

Experience and Qualifications

  • The Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Consultant should have the following qualifications:
  • Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Economics, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, with a proven track record evaluating and assessing donor-funded agriculture development projects.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, evaluation and learning systems with USAID-supported indicators especially during a project close out;
  • Possess technical familiarity with the Automated Directives System (ADS) 200 Series and with evaluation methods and standards under the USAID Evaluation Policy;
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with wide range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing;
  • Proven experience in managing multiple and competing tasks while maintaining quality of deliverables within deadlines; and
  • Willingness to collaborate, innovate and ability to think systematically;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present and write high quality technical reports in English.

2.) Human Resources (HR) Consultant

Location: Abuja

Experience and Qualifications
The human resources consultant should have the following qualifications:

  • Must be legally allowed to work in Nigeria.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility in human resource management the mid-level of an organization.
  • Experience in HR in donor-funded projects.
  • Experience with USAID projects, including a demonstrated understanding of applicable personnel-related USG regulations is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting wage and other HR-related market surveys.
  • Proficiency in working effectively as part of a team is required.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft office suite, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

3.) Procurement Consultant

Location: Abuja

Experience and Qualification
The Procurement Consultant should have the following qualifications:

  • Must be legally allowed to work in Nigeria.
  • University graduate with a Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in procurement administration.
  • Prior experience leading and managing the procurement aspects of USAID or other donor- funded projects, including a demonstrated understanding of donor regulations (US Government & Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations).
  • Demonstrated ability to unpack and communicate complex concepts simply with a range of stakeholders and sectors.
  • Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive demands & inquiries.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive in the procurement process.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent bids.
  • Excellent communications and personnel management skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and of different multi-ethnic backgrounds.
  • Well organized and self-directed individual with sound technical skills, and analytical ability
  • Ability to travel to support project work; and
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
  • Knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
