
Customs seizes dangerous weapons covered in cassava flour bags
The Nigerian Customs Service, through the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘A’ has seized live cartridges covered in bags of cassava flour. Information Guide Nigeria
According to Daily Post, Public Relations Officer of the FOU, Theophilus Duniya confirmed the incident to Channels TV yesterday, said that the goods were packed in three Mazda saloon cars and were seized by officers on patrol along the Igbora area in Oyo State.
One of the Public Relations Officers reported that drivers, on sighting the officers, left their vehicles and fled into the bush before the items were recovered.
According to him, the items seized included 751 pieces of AAA, 70mm live Lion Cartridges, sacks of garri, and parboiled rice. jamb results

The PRO said that the vehicles and items have been parked at the unit’s headquarters waiting for further investigation.
Reacting to the situation, the Acting Customs Comptroller, Hussein Ejibunu, solicited on all patriotic citizens to provide helpful and current information that would help in combating smuggling in the country.
He described smuggling as the king of all crimes and pleaded for the people to partner with them in order to fight it.
