Eid-el-Maulud: CAN Solicit Federal Govt. To End Terrorism

In view of the Eid-el-Maulud celebration, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has solicited President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to put a stop to terrorism in the country. Information Guide Nigeria

In a statement signed by Joseph Daramola, the CAN Secretary, on Monday in Abuja, wrote:

”CAN felicitates his Eminence, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, the Sultanate Council, all the Muslim leaders, and all Muslims nationwide.

”We seize this opportunity to urge government at all levels to double their efforts in stopping the menace of terrorism and all banditry in Nigeria.

”The government must exercise the political will and pave the way to the end of the insurgency in the country.
