FRSC Set To Enforce Speed Limit Devices On Articulated Vehicles

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ondo State Chapter says it is set to begin enforcement of installation of speed limits on vehicles.

According to PUNCH, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will enforce the installation of speed limit devices on vehicles plying the Ore-Benin Expressway.

This was disclosed by the Ore Unit Commander of FRSC, Mr Sikiru Alonge while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Jamb Results

In a report filed by PUNCH, Mr Sikiru Alonge said that the installation of a speed limit on vehicles will help reduce road accidents that occur on the highways due to speeding.

“For us to check the speeding of motorists on this axis, we will soon begin the enforcement of speed limit devices, especially on articulated vehicles.

“The speed limit devices aside from checking speed, also adds to fuel economy, helps drivers to manoeuvre in the event of accidents and generally aids other safety devices to function optimally in the time of need,”

PUNCH reports that the FRSC has called on drivers to install the speed limiter on their vehicles and ensure that they comply to all traffic rules and regulations.
