Prior to the feat of Nduka Ugbade’s boys, Nigeria U17’s women earned qualification for the competition in India after overcoming Ethiopia 1-0 on aggregate.Information Guide Nigeria

“Congratulations to both the Nigerian U17 women’s and men’s teams for qualifying to World Cup and Afcon, respectively. They are the future of Nigerian football and deserve our full support!” Peseiro wrote on Twitter.

“The players in the team at the moment are the best we have,” Peseiro said in an interview as quoted by Punch. “I have watched a lot of videos and what they need to understand is our ideas and philosophy.

“New players spring up every day in Nigeria but we have the best now. Okay, if I see a new player who is doing better than the player in his position. I will give him time little by little to help me understand our idea which is what we want to do more at the moment and not bring in new players.”JAMB Result
