Seven minutes into the match at the Parc des Princes, Mbappe appeared to injure his left leg in a tangle with Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi in which his tibia turned.
PSG were awarded a free kick from which Achraf Hakimi scored the game-winning goal before Mbappe left the field for medical attention.
