Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand declares Man City his new Premier League title favourites after backing Chelsea at start of season

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has changed his mind on the team who he thinks will win the 2021/2022 Premier League title.

The former United defender initially picked Chelsea as his title favourite, bUT the display of Manchester City under Pep Guardiola has now triggered a change of mind.

‘It ebbs and flows man!’ the former Man United and England defender said on the FIVE YouTube channel.

‘In the first four of five games of the season, I was sitting there and thinking Chelsea are the team to beat.

‘Three of four games later and I’m thinking Man City are the team to beat. They have looked seriously impressive against the big teams. Information Guide Nigeria

‘They dominated Chelsea away [last weekend], they dominated Liverpool in the first half [on Sunday] and should have seen the game off.
