And according to Marca, Manchester United are now considering a shock move for their former forward. Depay joined the Red Devils in a £31m deal from PSV in 2015, but spent just one full season in Manchester before he was sent out on loan to Lyon.
The Netherlands international failed to make an impression at Old Trafford – netting just seven goals in 53 appearances. The forward rejuvenated his career at Lyon and sealed a dream move to Barcelona in the summer of 2021.
Yet the Blaugrana are now desperate to offload Depay and former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in order to register new signing Jules Kounde.
