Mino Raiola explains why Erling Haaland chose Borussia Dortmund over Man Utd
During an interview with Sport1, Raiola – who is Haaland’s agent – explained why the player opted for Dortmund over United, praising sporting director Michael Zorc for his handling of the deal.
“Negotiations with him were persistent. But it is Zorc’s credit that Erling plays at BVB today,” he said.
“I am a car fan. When you have a choice between a Mercedes S63 AMG or an Audi RS6, that’s difficult, isn’t it? Both are good cars.

“Erling was faced with the decision at the time. And Zorc clearly demonstrated the advantages of his S63 AMG over the RS6. He sold the club in such a way that Erling said: ‘I’ll see myself there. I can develop here.’
“BVB has developed enormously. He can be an example for the international football world. Dortmund bring absolute super talents. Back then they had the balls to sign someone like Erling, who was still quite unknown, but cost a lot of money.JAMB Result
