DAILY POST reports that on September 22, 2021, an officer serving in the 13th Brigade Command in Calabar, Lt Viola Anele was allegedly caught on Camera pouring what was suspected to be dirty water on the female corps member while forcing her to kneel and hitting her with the container.
In a statement made by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, the act is described as an embarrassment to the Nigerian Army. Jamb Results
While adding that the officer has been sanctioned and will undergo regimental order in line with the Armed Forces Act, he advised the public not to hesitate in reporting such cases to them.
