
Nnamdi Azikiwe University Receives Award Grant Of N1billion
A nonprofit organisation, Abdul Samad Rabiu, ASRAfrica Initiative for International Student Centre has awarded Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State with the sum of N1 billion.
THE NATION reports that the grant was presented to the University by the Chairman/founder of the group, Alhaji Abdul Sama Rabiu who was represented by a former Minister of Health, Dr. Aliyu Idi Hung. Jamb Results

“So far, this is the last lap of the university intervention of N1billion development grant to one institution in each geographical zone of the country.” Information Guide Nigeria
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University said Prof Charles Esimone who received the grant on behalf of the institution said that the center would be the first and best of its kind in Africa when completed.
THE NATION reports that the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the University, Prof. Sulyman Kuranga applauded the foundation for showing concern about the school.
Also, the Project Managing Director, Mr. Ubon Udoh stated that the selection of the benefitting universities followed the National University Commission (NUC) and global university’s ranking as well as developmental strides of the institutions.
