Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has played down the impact of Anfield when his side face off with Liverpool on Sunday.

Anfield has been tagged one of the fierce football grounds to visit because of how supportive and passionate the fans are.

But while Guardiola thinks it is too early in the season to consider Sunday’s game a title-decider, he is happy to see fans back inside Anfield but is adamant they will make no difference to his side’s performance. Information Guide Nigeria

“It’s important to win in Anfield, but it’s difficult. Last season the first time in many many years,” the Spaniard told reporters. I am pleased Anfield is full again, it’s nice they come back and we can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere and hopefully, we can handle it in a good way.”
