PSG fume against Chelsea with ‘Act like the largest club,’ statement

Chelsea had a great triumph on deadline day when they signed Enzo Fernandez on a record-breaking deal, but they also had a spectacular failure when it came to loaning Hakim Ziyech.Information Guide Nigeria

The French league (LFP) refused to confirm the player’s contract, preventing Paris Saint-Germain from signing the Moroccan sensation on loan from Chelsea.

PSG is blaming Chelsea for the paperwork gaffes, which have reportedly left the French club “furious” and evaluating future transfers with the Blues.

Ligue 1 clubs had until 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday (local time) to deliver all contracts to the league before having an additional hour to record moves in the FIFA system, which confirms all foreign transactions.

Ziyech had passed a medical, and the clubs had agreed that he would be loaned to PSG until the end of the season.

However, sources claim that the Premier League team failed to provide the necessary documentation in time for the 29-year-old winger’s transfer to be finalized by the deadline.NYSC portal

PSG then requested special permission from the LFP, which was swiftly denied, leaving the French giants enraged.

One source characterized it as “absolute shambles” while speaking to Sky Sports.

“Chelsea will not darken PSG’s doorstep ever again. This is not how you do business or treat a player,” added the source.

The Telegraph, meanwhile, reported that Chelsea blamed the drama on a technology glitch.

“But PSG are furious over the matter with sources claiming the club feel disrespected and describing the process as a Class A circus,” the report added.

PSG had wanted the Dutch-born Ziyech to add depth to their attack following the departure of Spanish international forward Pablo Sarabia to Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in January.

The Ligue 1 leaders, who face Bayern Munich in the opening leg of their Champions League last-16 encounter on February 14, did not recruit any new players during the winter transfer window.

They were also interested in Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar, a Slovakian centre-back, but he will now stay with the Italian club until the end of the season, when his contract expires.JAMB Result
