SS1, SS2 Students Banned From Writing WAEC, NABTEB, NECO Exams

The Federal Government of Nigeria has barred Senior Secondary School 1&2 students from writing the external West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the National Business and Technical Examination (NBTE), and the National Examination Council (NECO).

THE NATION reports that this was disclosed in a Circular signed by the Director in-charge of Senior Secondary Education, Federal Ministry of Education, Binta Abdulkadir.

The circular reads, “Any student caught to have written any of the above examinations in SS1 or SS2 classes will be expelled from the college. All students must write these examinations after they have been duly registered for the examination by the college.” Information Guide Nigeria

According to Him, the student finds it difficult to settle down on serious studies as a result, they become unruly and distract other students from achieving their set goals. Jamb Results

Abdulkadir called on principals to inform parents about the content of the circular adding that students of Federal Unity College adhere to the content of the circular.
