Tears as Court unregisters Gavi As Barcelona Player

A court in Barcelona has informed LaLiga that they can unregister Gavi because Barcelona filed the lawsuit that previously allowed them to inscribe him late.Information Guide Nigeria

However, the court suspended the ruling because Barcelona filed late, and LaLiga will be allowed to unregister the midfielder under Barcelona’s first team.

Barcelona filed late.
According to Relevo, the Mercantile Court of Barcelona informed LaLiga this morning that Barcelona had filed the lawsuit that allowed them to register Gavi late.

The court informed LaLiga that it was suspending the ‘precautionary measure’ that required LaLiga to register the player under Barcelona’s first team despite the club failing to meet the league’s economic control laws.

There was a grace period in which entities could file for the lawsuit, allowing Barcelona to register Gavi, and Barcelona filed a day late.

This means Gavi will no longer be a member of the Barcelona first team and will no longer be able to wear his No. 6 jersey.

However, Barcelona will be able to use him because he was previously registered to the subsidiary teams this season and had a pass to play for Barcelona in LaLiga.
