1.) Protection and Gender Officer
Location: Borno
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Psychology, Business, Management, Education, Social / Community Work, Public Administration and Sociology / Social Sciences preferred.
- Minimum of three year’s professional experience in protection mainstreaming gender and diversity
- Experience in developing and using protection, gender and diversity tools.
- Previous experience in design, implementation, and mainstreaming protection in FSL, Nutrition Wash and gender programs
- Experience in developing gender and protection training manual

- Strong sensitivity and respect for local cultures
- Professional manner in dealing with community members and co-workers.
- Strong listening skills combined with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

- Minimum of Diploma, HND or a B.Sc added advantage in related fields. (Social Sciences e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data science, etc)
- Experience in Wash, nutrition, FSL and Agric.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience NGO setting.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS, POWERBI, COMMCARE, KOBOTOOLBOX and ODK.
- Willing to travel to project locations as assigned by project officer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proven success in designing, implementing, and operating project MEAL systems from project initiation to closeout stages.
- Experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/performance monitoring plans.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Working knowledge of data processing computer packages.
- Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.
- Experience managing and providing ongoing training to MEAL field officers.
- Ability to facilitate and serve as a project liaison for externally managed evaluations.
- Personal and organizational skills, including time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
