In an interview with L’Equipe in 2006, as quoted by Tribuna, Eto’o said: “If I were called Eto’ozinho, I would be a hundred times more recognised.”
“I do not complain when they in FIFA say Samuel Eto’o is the third-best player in the world. I still consider myself the best,” the Cameroonian added.
Ronaldinho won the award, with Frank Lampard, and Samuel coming in at second and third respectively.JAMB Result
