1.) CRM Officer

Location: Borno

Job Description

  • Establish and manage the complaint and feedback mechanism for the project component by GEPaDC
  • Receive complaints and feedback and respond to enquiries at the complaint desk at program sites.
  • Build staff awareness and commitment to a complaint mechanism, ensuring that all SOPs and GEPaDC core values are respected.
  • Refer program-specific complaints to MEAL Officer and SMT for follow-up.

  • Ensure regular maintenance of complaints and feedback database/ information System and ensure information is shared on a regular basis.

  • Maintenance of an effective record and filing system for all complaints solved and pending issues including correspondences.
  • Lodge all feedback, complaints, and response in the CFM database.
  • Support to ensure complaints are closed within the appropriate timeframe including those reported from the GEPaDC toll-free line.
  • Ensure the CFM database is forwarded to the MEAL officer on a monthly basis and important complaints from complaint desks and suggestion boxes are reported immediately.

2.) M&E Officer

Job Description

  • The MEAL officers will collect, compile, consolidate, and analyze data to track programs/ projects activities, monitor progress, and support impact measurement in the project locations – Askira Uba and Damboa
  • The M&E officers will ensure that data collected at all project events are disaggregated by sex, age and disability and that data are collected according to the provided framework and tools
  • Liaise with the MEAL Coordinator to develop and implement M&E Plan for the project and provide MEAL-related support to the project.
  • In conjunction with the M&E Coordinator, develop data capture tools for beneficiary identification and registration and distribution register.
  • Provide community organizations, and GEPaDC staff with clear and simple instructional sheets for each data collection tool and trained/provide regular coaching to relevant staff and other stakeholders on data quality and the use of the data collection tools.
  • Contribute to revising monitoring and evaluation tools and train the program team on design and proper use of it.

5.) GBV Officer

Location: Borno

Job Description

  • Provide the day-to-day management of all GBV cases including the identification, documentation, development of case plans, follow-up, referrals, etc
  • Assessment of survivor needs, developing an action plan, implementing the plan, follow up and case closure processes in line with the GBV standard operating procedure and IASC guidelines.
  • Advocate for more/ better GBV management, through Communication, Monitoring, and strategies aimed at achieving results
  • Support individuals or survivors by supporting referral to other service providers (Health, legal counselling, shelter, livelihoods, mental health, etc.)

  • Provide direct age-appropriate support and care to vulnerable adolescents and young women (including survivors of GBV that includes counselling and case management for under 18 years’ survivors.

6.) Child Protection Officer

Job Description

  • Coordinate the activities of the Protection Officers and GBV Officers across the project locations
  • Regularly verifies the status of the case management database, conduct case reviews, and provide feedback to the Protection Officers, ensuring that cases meet and maintain compliance with established SOPs and minimum standards in case management.
  • Supports the planning, implementation, and reporting on all protection activities via project workplans, schedules, team management and the availability of materials, supporting a positive team dynamic and a healthy work environment.
  • Ensures an equal division of the overall workload, timely follow-up on targets and flag issues to the Project Manager.
  • Provides individual supervision sessions on a regular basis to each Protection Officer, supporting and coaching them on their duties using various methods; enabling their ability to find solutions and respond appropriately to daily challenges.
  • Compiles all reporting on case management, general protection activities and PSS activities as per GEPaDC and donor reporting regulations and transmit these on a regular basis to the Program Manager.
  • Supports the MEAL team in the compilation of the monthly 5Ws, GBVIMS, CPIMS reports, and other reports as needed.
  • Oversees the proper and safe filing, archiving, and information-sharing of case management files to maintain data confidentiality as per GEPaDC and international standards.
  • Ensure that all teams are trained in data protection and confidentiality; and enforce the adherence to protection principles, codes of conduct and internal SOPs.
  • Carries out all tasks respecting key protection principles, including but not limited to; do no harm; non-discrimination; confidentiality, accountability, and; need-to-know principles.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of project assessments, regular service mapping, updates to the service directory, the development of referral systems per area, and project data collection (surveys, pre and post-tests, etc…).
  • Identifying Protection trends and reporting gaps in the availability, access and quality of protection services in the assigned area;
  • Flags protection and security issues and contribute to the identification of appropriate responses via regular data review and the submission of protection reports.
  • Harmonizes guidance and support for the planning and implementation of awareness-raising activities, focus group discussions, and PSS activities in the WGFS, CFS and training workshops.
  • Participate in external meetings, representing GEPaDC as needed, with an emphasis on training on protection monitoring, general protection trends, and challenges.
  • Supports the development, updating and local adaptation of protection tools and training material and delivers step-down training on these as needed for the field.

7.) M&E Coordinator

Job Description

  • Coordinate the collection, compilation, consolidation, and analysis of data to track programs/project activities, monitor progress, and support impact measurement.
  • Establish and ensure better data management systems for the project.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Program Manager, and MEAL Managers from other members of the Consortium to develop an overall M&E framework for the Program
  • Provide technical support and training to the field staff, participate in the rollout of the accountability[i1] framework, and contribute to internal knowledge building.
  • Provide support to project staff to systematically measure progress in the implementation and provide training on the framework through which these measurements (M&E data) are fed back to those involved in the running of the various component of the project and ensure that the information can support and guide the decisions of the management team to improve the quality and impact the program operations.
  • Provide technical and methodological support to programs for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities, data management (development of questionnaires for surveys, sampling, input method, extraction of useful data and interpretation) and integration of cross-functional issues.
  • Ensure continued generation of accurate information about beneficiary reach, as per regional requirements.
  • Develop the capabilities of program teams in the areas of collection and analysis of data (method, formats, software, etc.), indicator measurement, feedback and complaint mechanisms, negative impact analysis, etc.
  • In consultation with the Protection sector lead, design and develop program database, IPTT and regularly update the database for the sector.
  • Update the MEAL plan timely and provide feedback to program staff on the status and quality of implementation.

  • Conduct regular field visits to track progress against indicators and put in place systems for routine data quality checks and validations
  • Ensure that MEAL and program teams regularly review and accordingly adjust MEAL plans and tools in light of changes and needs in the field context based on monitoring data and reflection sessions.
  • Coach, train, supervise and mentor direct-report staff, including communicating clear expectations, setting annual performance objectives, providing regular and timely positive and constructive performance feedback, and providing documented semi-annual performance reviews.
